All manufacturers pre-heat both the waste oil and low pressure air, and all major waste oil heaters can handle burning dirtier oil.
Many years ago, waste oil heater technology greatly varied from manufacturer to manufacturer, but now there are very minor design differences which has resulted in increased trust and dependability for the waste oil industry as a whole.
